I was very excited to be in Southern Ontario. I had purchased a book in Kirkland Lake a few months before we left – just a spiral notebook, the kind you´d buy for school. I had written my plan out in this book – same as the last time – 5 years ago , full of the things I wanted to do when I arrived. I was happy to be so close to Toronto and planned on networking there. After we settled in, I opened my notebook. #1 – network in Barrie. Go to some open jams, meet like minded artists, sing, and record. #2 – Find a way to become comfortable performing in public. It had been so long, I needed to become confident and comfortable again. #3 – Take professional singing lessons. #4 – Start performing.
