44. One Girl. One Journey – Summer/Autumn/Fall of 2018

The summer was a great one. I got a part time job remotely. I worked out every day. I enjoyed my family. I read alot. And I was in a very very good place. I called my Mom often and reconnected with her. My internet wasn´t the greatest so the calls weren´t as long or as good as they could have been, but I was happy just to be able to chat with her. And she seemed so interested in my journey. She was happy I was back and wanted to know everything I was doing.

I had always been active – especially in the last 4 years. I loved training in the gym, but alot of my friends in Mexico were male, and they all worked out at a stadium doing calisthenics and body weight training. So for the last 4 years, that´s what I did with them. But now I didn´t have a stadium, so I jogged everyday and did body weight and resistance training in my backyard. The summer passed by quickly, and I wanted to find an apartment for the fall.

In November I moved into a new apartment in Barrie.
